About Cameron:
Cameron Smith received her Master’s of Education in Counselling from the University of New Brunswick. In her practice, she emphasizes a collaborative approach to therapy. Her theoretical background is eclectic, influenced by notions of attachment theory, and drawing from various modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems therapy, and Emotionally Focus therapy (EFT). Her goal is to find the best practices that suit her client’s needs and to create a safe, warm, and trauma-informed environment for people seeking support. Cameron is also a Board-Certified Neurofeedback (BCN) Clinician with the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA). She incorporates QEEG assessments and technology as a way of viewing people’s brainwave activity, understanding their symptoms, and working towards healthier brain functioning.
Experience:
Cameron is a Canadian Certified Counsellor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and a Licensed Counselling Therapist Candidate through the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB). Cameron is also a Board-Certified Neurofeedback (BCN) Clinician with the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA).
