About Isidora:
In my therapeutic practice, I prioritize authentic and honest communication, fostering a safe environment where difficult things feel safe to talk about. With compassion as my compass, I balance acceptance-based strategies with methods for change, aiming to support clients as they work at their own pace toward building a life they find worth living, and realize about their capacity to shape their own narratives to transform challenges into opportunities for personal evolution.
Experience
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), with a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology. I have training in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Neurofeedback, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). I offer a safe judgement-free space and support you in every step of your journey towards an authentic happy life.
My goal as a clinician is to help you learn to surf the challenges of life, rather than just float to avoid drowning. It’s about achieving well-being while embracing life as it is. I am currently accepting new clients at NuVista Mental Health, and I hope you consider booking an intro call with me. I have availability for in-person for Ottawa-based clients.
