In our first meeting, we’ll learn more about you, your history, and your goals. This is also a great time to ask any questions you might have! The session typically lasts 30-60 minutes.
Learning disabilities encompass a range of neurological disorders that affect an individual’s ability to process information, think critically, and perform academically.
Learning disabilities can present challenges in areas such as reading, writing, attention, and comprehension. At MindVista, we offer Neurofeedback Therapy as a supportive and non-invasive approach to promoting mental function and learning abilities. By helping the brain function more efficiently, neurofeedback can provide individuals with the tools they need to overcome learning challenges. Neurofeedback is a brain-training method that monitors brainwave activity and provides real-time feedback. This feedback encourages the brain to adjust its patterns, possibly leading to better mental processes like focus, memory, and information retention. For individuals with learning disabilities, this therapy can offer a natural way to boost mental performance and strengthen learning capabilities.
Neurofeedback Therapy provides a drug-free alternative to help manage learning disabilities. It’s suitable for individuals of all ages and helps to address issues such as difficulty focusing, memory challenges, and processing speed. Neurofeedback promotes long-term benefits by helping the brain create more efficient pathways for learning.

A QEEG brain scan is a simple, non-invasive test that measures the electrical activity in your brain. This helps us tailor the best neurofeedback or biofeedback approach for you. The scan takes about one hour and is not used for diagnosis.
Once the QEEG data is analyzed, we’ll meet with you again to discuss the results. We’ll explain how neurofeedback or biofeedback can help you reach your goals and answer any further questions you have. This session takes around 30-45 minutes, and we’ll provide a written summary of the findings along with our recommended training plan.
Neurofeedback sessions are held 1-3 times per week at our clinic, with most clients noticing positive changes after 20-40 sessions. Over the course of these sessions, a consistent feedback mechanism helps your brain learn to produce the desired brainwave patterns more reliably. Gradually, these changes help you better manage your emotions, behaviors, and mental performance, leading to a more balanced and effective daily life.

Neurofeedback helps train the brain to produce optimal brainwave patterns, which enhances concentration and attention. This can be especially beneficial for individuals with learning disabilities, improving their ability to stay focused on tasks and absorb new information.
Neurofeedback can improve the brain's ability to process and organize information, helping individuals with learning disabilities overcome difficulties in reading, writing, or problem-solving. This leads to better academic performance and greater ease in understanding complex concepts.
By promoting more efficient brainwave activity, neurofeedback boosts memory functions, allowing individuals with learning disabilities to better retain and recall information. This can significantly improve learning outcomes and everyday functioning.
At MindVista, we are committed to research and evidence-based practices. Stay up to date on the latest research in mental health and neurofeedback therapy.
